Candle Trees

Our candle trees are lovely this year and their blooms mean that fall is near. I am so grateful to have this beautiful garden surrounding my house that I can view and enjoy from every window. I have officially stopped gardening until I can start my allergy shots and we prove that they have desensitized me to fire ant, bee and wasp stings. This may take as long as five years. Over the next two months as we prepare for winter, we will also simplify the yard, so for the next few years Paul and Tereso can maintain it for me. Since, I have spent nearly every weekend for the past 10 years in the garden I have been thinking about what I should do with all my free time. One thing I plan to do is start an awareness campaign about this life threatening allergy, utilizing this web site and other about this life threatening allergy.
