When I was growing up Dad used to make things out of wood. Just like my Mom's flowers, I did not think about it much then. But, this summer when Dad came to visit, he and Paul worked on a project refinishing our outside table. Paul learned new techniques and I learned some things about Dad. Dad's trade of woodworking has been perfected over his life and I am glad he is passing what he knows to Paul and I hope that someday Brian will be interested in learning as well. We will save all the tools for Brian if he is. Thanks Dad for a piece of furniture that I will always treasure as I think back on the memories I have of you and Paul working on this project together this summer. You are both special men in my life and I love you.
