Feverfew has become one of my favorite flowers. It can be a little tricky to start from seed because the seeds need light to germinate and should rest on top of the soil. It also takes feverfew a year to take off in your garden. The first year requires patience, but the second year is when these plants truly shine. Mine are now covered in blooms. I grow both the single and double varieties, but I especially love the singles. When the petals fall, the golden centers remain and are beautiful in their own right. Feverfew also reseeds itself making it easy to spread throughout the garden. They are an incredible filler for your cut flower vases. An added plus was to find this little gecko lounging among the blossoms as if he had reserved the best seat in the garden. Some flowers are worth the wait. Feverfew is one of them.
