The Steady Charm of Gomphrena

2869

Some plants don’t put on a big show,  they just keep showing up even through our Texas heat. This gomphrena is one of those steady companions. I started it from seed in March, and here we are in November and it’s still blooming. No fuss, no special treatment just dependable color all season long. And the best part? It isn’t finished yet. Once these blooms dry, they’ll move into our conservatory room and keep their shape and color through the winter. I love a flower that gives all summer and then settles in indoors to keep the season going a little longer.  This one earned its place in P&B garden. I’ll be planting it every year from now on.
