Fall roses are not uncommon here in Bedford ..... in fact they are the norm. All our roses are still in full bloom and this Chrysler Imperial and Belinda's Dream are just perfect. Had to share. Wish you were here Ma and Dad out of the snow in Chicago !!

Jennifer invited us to go to the Dallas Architectural Tour of Homes on Sunday. We enjoy getting ideas and like to admire the architecture of other homes. Chris joined us and we loved riding around in his convertible listening to the Beatles Love through the old neighborhoods by Knox-Henderson.

I had not been in the yard in several weeks during the daylight and all my pots needed a new look.  I spent Saturday redesigning them for fall.  Love the snapdragons !!  One of my favorites.

We had not been out in the yard all week during the daylight so we had not noticed that our oak tree had started to turn beautiful fall colors. Now it is finally fall at PB garden. What a peaceful time of year.

It's Thursday morning and I rushed out into the yard to see my roses before I left for an early meeting.

Hi Jack !!!

I just got back from Maine and it was definitely fall there but here in P&B Garden everything was still green and roses were still blooming. So, I had to make my own fall for Halloween this Friday so it would be festive for Jack when he visits.

We had a wonderful weekend at PB Garden. Saturday I did some Italian cooking with a new recipe by Giada and also baked apple crisp with the apples I brought back from Maine. Jennifer spent the weekend with us and we just love when she is here.

Last weekend I went to the coast of Maine with my three girlfriends, Marcie, Claudia and Barbara. We had a wonderful time and it was great to get away but of course I missed Paul :), but he took good care of PB Garden while I was gone.

[gallery] Next weekend is the Rose Festival in Tyler Texas but I will be on my girlfriends trip for lobsters and leaves in Southern Maine. So on Saturday Paul and I drove to Tyler to view the Rose Garden at what they say is the most exquisite time, right before or during the Rose Festival.
