I am so sorry we missed the last 7 years of this event because were pleasantly surprised this weekend when we attended the 8th Annual White Rock East Garden Tour in Dallas in a quaint neighborhood called Little Forest Hills.

My favorite thing to do is laugh with Brian. On Mother's Day we set the record and laughed so hard we cried. It had been a long time since I laughed that hard and it felt good. Today when I went in the garden I saw my tropical beauty bursting with color and laughing in the sun.

Today I walked out into the garden and saw my gardenia bush blooming. Oh my gosh, I only waited two years for it to bloom. As I waited for this gardenia to bloom so do you wait for your children to bloom.

A year ago on Mother's Day Jennifer handed me her computer for my Mother's Day present. She quickly clicked her fingers to a website called www.pbgarden.com and this page came up.

TO OUR MOTHER:

I chose a yellow rose from my garden for you today Mom. A yellow rose means warmth, happiness and joy, all things that come to mind when I think of you.  Happy Mother's Day.... I love you !!

Today P&B's Garden was listed on Kathy's Directory of Garden Blogs. Kathy lives in upstate New York and has a delightful blog about keeping positive when gardening in cold weather.

Today after the Credentials Committee Flat Spencer headed over to Bedford for a visit in the Garden.

Today when I came home I immediately went out in the yard to check on the progress of our Demolition. When I looked around I found a flood of orange lines and flags everywhere !!
