If you are a hummingbird lover, Columbine is for you. Columbines produce large, showy blooms on airy plants with beautiful green foliage from late spring to early summer.
I love the color that my azaleas give to my front flower bed. This bush blooms three times a year and as you can see gives you the most beautiful blooms. I planted mine in the front bed because they need morning sun at least 4 hours which is more than traditional azaleas.
You would never know that this plant that looks like a cabbage head all winter long will surprise you in the early spring with a tall lovely yellow flower coming out from the center.
