This spring I planted a package of Burpee assorted perennial seeds in a small plot of soil next to the rose bushes. I placed a marker there, but my yard maintenance man mistook them for weeds and wisked them away.

The drains are in and we are ready to plant. A long road for Paul to get here.... and ......my heart goes out to him.

Paul spent his entire Father's Day weekend in the shade garden and gave up a trip to Austin to continue to work on "go green goes bad". He made great progress and plans to start planting this weekend.
