What a beautiful day in the garden today !! Love the carpet of leaves and found this lizard in the mums. So happy to have Rachael home with us this weekend.

On Monday a very special person I know will begin a new opportunity. Today I had to reflect on portions of an old saying about people that come into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime.

Inspired by my recent trip to Savannah, I noticed that some of the grand old porches had mirrors. Back home at PB Garden, I decided to try one in our entry way. How lovely PB Garden looks in the fall and what a special touch this lovely old mirror adds.

The biggest grasshopper ever seen was photographed last week at P&B's Garden by this amazed visitor from Chicago.

You can always count on the garden to give you that Kodak moment.

It's hard to believe that football season is here and Da Bears and Da Boys are already back ! It was so good to see Paul watching the game today and not working in the yard !

Many of you have called Paul to play golf or go out on your boat, or just hang out this summer and heard him say .... "I am sorry, I can't go..... I am working on my yard project". This did not sound like Paul to you....and I am sure you wondered what was going on.
