Christmas in the Conservatory

Honeysuckle in Bloom

Last year my friend brought me a honeysuckle plant at the end of the planting season. This variety of honeysuckle is a tender perennial for North Texas, so we brought it in over the winter. All summer I waited for it to bloom.

Fall Wreath Frames Don Juan Rose

So thankful to be able to look out on a beautiful garden through every window in our home.

Framing the Shade Garden

I had this old frame that was so pretty I did not want to throw it away, so I created a live picture of one of the most beautiful shade gardens we have ever grown. The picture frame is full of inpatiens and surrounded by hydrangea, sea oats, asparagus ferns and caladiums.

Candle Trees

Our candle trees are lovely this year and their blooms mean that fall is near. I am so grateful to have this beautiful garden surrounding my house that I can view and enjoy from every window.

Breakfast in the Conservatory

This morning Paul made me breakfast and we ate out in the conservatory. I have not been in the yard very much since the ant episode a few weeks ago and miss my gardening so very much. On the bright side, I am alive and still able to enjoy the garden that I built with Paul over eggs and coffee.

Lovely Lilies in Bloom

Earlier this year, I received several lily bulbs from a wonderful person that I have the privilege to know and work with. I planted the bulbs at the entrance to my shade garden, which gets a good amount of sun.
